What Is It Registration Schedule Travel Guide Rules FAQ

🤔 What is a Hackathon?

A hackathon is an intense, collaborative event where developers, designers, and creators team up to build working prototypes in 24 hours. It's not a competition to see who's the best programmer — it's a celebration of creativity, innovation, and teamwork. You'll brainstorm ideas, write code, test implementations, and pitch your creation to judges and peers.

All Skill Levels Welcome

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced developer, you'll find real value here. The focus is on learning, growing, and having fun while building something meaningful in a limited timeframe.

Learn, Connect, Build

You'll learn new technologies, network with like-minded innovators, and potentially find your future collaborators, mentors, or teammates. Most importantly, you'll be part of a vibrant community of makers.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience to participate?

No! We welcome all skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or experienced developer, you'll find value in participating. We'll have mentors available to help beginners throughout the event.

Is food provided?

Yes! All meals are included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the 24 hours. We'll accommodate dietary restrictions — just let us know in your registration form.

Can I work on an existing project?

You can work on an idea you've explored before, but you cannot reuse existing code. Judges will only consider new functionality created during the hackathon. See our competition rules for full details.

What if I don't have a team?

That's completely fine! We'll have a team formation session after the opening ceremony where you can meet other participants and form teams. Many successful projects come from teams formed at the event!

Is there a place to sleep?

Yes! We'll have a dedicated quiet room for sleeping. Bring a sleeping bag or blanket for comfort. Many hackers choose to code through the night — do whatever works for you!

What can I build?

Anything! Web apps, mobile apps, games, hardware projects, AI/ML solutions — if you can build it in 24 hours, it's fair game. Challenge tracks will be announced at the opening ceremony.
