❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience to participate?

No! We welcome all skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or experienced developer, you'll find value in participating. We'll have mentors available to help beginners throughout the event.

Is food provided?

Yes! All meals are included: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the 24 hours. We'll accommodate dietary restrictions - just let us know in your registration form.

Can I work on an existing project?

You can work on an idea you've explored before, but you cannot reuse existing code. If adding features to an existing project, judges will only consider new functionality created during the hackathon. See our competition rules for details.

What if I don't have a team?

That's completely fine! We'll have a team formation session after the opening ceremony where you can meet other participants and form teams. Many successful projects come from teams formed at the event!

Is there a place to sleep?

Yes! We'll have a dedicated quiet room for sleeping. Bring a sleeping bag or blanket for comfort. However, many hackers choose to code through the night!

What can I build?

Anything! Web apps, mobile apps, games, hardware projects, AI/ML solutions - if you can build it in 24 hours, it's fair game. Challenge tracks will be announced at the opening ceremony.
